Medical staff reviewed Shaheen Afridi's MRI Report - Pak vs SL

As his MRI report is being reviewed by medical staff, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan's pacer, will continue to play in Galle Test.

A spokesperson for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), stated that Shaheen Afridi’s MRI report has been received by the medical staff, which they are currently reviewing.

The media manager said that he would continue to take part in the ongoing match.

After suffering a leg injury in the first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle International Stadium, the star bowler had to undergo an MRI Tuesday.

According to the spokesperson, Shaheen felt a pulled muscle while fielding, and the icing was recommended for him. The pain didn't subside and the cricketer was forced to have an MRI.

After suffering the injury, the pacer was forced to leave the field. In the second innings, he could only bowl seven runs.

In the first innings, Shaheen was the leading bowler with four wickets. However, it was the spinners who took the most wickets in the second innings.

After being beaten by 337 in the first session, Pakistan is now chasing 342.
