Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday refused to run in the next election in the event that the incumbent CEC Sikandar Sultan was not removed.
Speaking to the workers of the party and the members of the parliamentary assembly with PTI MPAs of Punjab Imran Khan told the parliamentary meeting that the country would not sit in silence if its mandate is stolen. Imran Khan warned that the establishment of PTI will begin a battle when it is denied its power to create its own government within Punjab according to its own mandate. Imran said that someone like Zardari who was a thief in Sindh in a brutal manner was trying to snatch the mandate of the people.
Imran Khan was elated by family members and women who flocked out in huge numbers to show their support for the PTI. He also said that it was not possible to predict the outcome in Muzaffargarh in Rawalpindi and Muzaffargarh. Rawalpindi and this would not have occurred when the EVM system had been in operation.
At the parliamentary session at the parliamentary meeting, the PTI chairman acknowledged the party's MPAs who refused all offers to compromise their loyalty. The reason for the PTI's fight was to establish an akin Medina-style welfare state. He stated that nations can only thrive by ensuring that corruption is eradicated.
In the meantime, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi met with Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in his home. The gathering was also held by Moonis Elahi Hussain Elahi, Muhammad Basharat Raja, and Zain Qureshi.
A thorough consultation was conducted regarding the strategy for how to handle the Punjab chief minister's election as well as the tactics of the government were reviewed. The Punjab Assembly will also trust Imran Khan during the election for chief minister.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the PTI's candidate for the nomination Ch Pervaiz Elahi will be the Punjab chief minister. PTI and PMLQ hold the majority within the Punjab Assembly. In the by-elections, the majority of the population accepted Imran Khan's stance and served as a lesson for the dissident members.
Imran Khan stated that the "kings of crime" Asif the two Ali Zardaris and Shehbaz Sharif used their salvaged looted funds' to buy the Punjab MPAs and thereby shaming the law and desecrating the Constitution.
He claimed that the newly-created government, which came by the US regime change conspiracy first attempted to influence the Punjab by-elections using state machinery, assisted by an 'insincere and biased chief election commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja in charge of a dubious ECP. But, he claimed that an extremely vigilant and determined public resisted, ensuring that their scheme was not successful. He claimed that the "kings of crime," Zardari and Shehbaz with the 'NRO-2' made use of their stolen money to buy Punjab MPAs.
"I am asking the people of Pakistan that just as they came out and thwarted the plan to steal the Punjab by-elections on July 17, they must now protect their mandate by coming out to stage protests across the country," said the president and added "I will take on the protests. It is time to let Sri Lanka be a reminder to send a clear message to the cabal of crooks their handlers and ECP that the people of Punjab are not going to let you take away their rights within Punjab.
