Veteran Pakistani actor and director Tanveer Jamal died fighting cancer. The actor was confirmed to have cancer back in the year 2016 and was then sent to Japan for treatment.
The actor was diagnosed with the disease the second time in 2018 when he was filming for his drama series Mere Apne. This time, Jamal relocated to Japan to undergo the disease in May 2022. He also invited his supporters to pray for his recovery.
In his illustrious career span that spans over 35 years, Jamal has been a key character in major dramas like Godfather, Tasweer, and Teri Raza. The actor is renowned for his outstanding acting skills and his career spans more than three decades.
He was also given the Outstanding Performance Award by Pakistan Television (PTV). Tanveer Jamal initially gained fame for his acting, and then the director and producer started his career as well. The company he founded was established in 1993.
